Etsy Shop Review & GIVEAWAY : SophiaGraceBoutique & PrintYourOwnTee

Hey guys! Today I present you TWO Etsy shops that are ran by the same person. April has some beautiful templates and her tutorials are easy to read and understand. I intend to shop from her for now on. =D

How many of you have always enjoyed making shirts with your very own appliques? I know I have. I use to buy them all the time and usually end up burning a hole through my fabric with the iron. Well now you can get April's step by step guide to Making Fabric Iron-On Appliques. It will help you to know what you are doing. One of the best thing I like about this tutorial is that it covers each detail and that it is short and sweet. How many of you hate reading instructions? Guilty again. In this tutorial you won"t have that problem. If somehow you have a question or a problem you can contact April and she can walk you through it step by step. She is very friendly and always eager to help.
Below are few of my favorite templates that you can find at her store. Each template is $1.50 and I believe that is a very good deal.:

This one is Bird on a Branch

This is the Peace sign. This is great because we all know how Peace is the new fad. Who would have ever thought the 60s would be popular again.

And here is Mr. Ducky.

These are just a few of the templates that I love. I like all of them, but we all know that I cannot put that many pics on here, Blogger would freeze!

Here is what April has to say about Sophia Grace Botique:

All templates and instructions will be sent by PDF file via e-mail within 24-48 hours of payment....usually much sooner! :) PLEASE NOTE that all of my templates (except letters and numbers) are handmade and hand drawn...not digitized. There is never any charge to have them re-sized. I can make all my templates smaller or larger (up to 8.5" x 11").
Single Templates do NOT come with instructions on how to make the applique. Please see my applique tutorial for those! Thanks!

This is April's second store entitled Print Your Own Tee. It is a new store.
She also offers a tutorial that tells you how to print you own tee and many different appliques.

Have you ever wondered how people make those adorable printed t-shirts?
Now you can learn how to make your own! You can also use these methods to print on pillowcases, sweatshirts, aprons, totes and MORE!!

Here are some of the appliques that I really loved (once again I cant post everything that I loved because it would fill up my whole blog). All of her templates here are $2.50 and I believe that they are worth every penny:

This is the Girl Spider

This is Mickey (you can also get it in Minnie)

Here is what April has to say about Print Your Own Tee:

All orders will be sent by JPEG or PDF via e-mail within 24-48 hours of payment....usually much sooner! :) Most designs are in a 6-7" size. However, there is never any charge to have them re-sized. I can make them smaller or larger (up to 8.5" x 11"). Just send me a message in the "NOTES TO SELLER" section at check-out as to any changes you would like to make.
PLEASE NOTE: Designs do NOT come with instructions on how to apply them. Please see my tutorial for those.

While speaking with April I asked her a few questions in order to get to know her. I know that many people like to know a person before they purchase anything from them so here is the interview:

Name: April Hill

Store Name: Sophia Grace Boutique~Applique Templates & Print Your Own Tee

Store URL: www.april0115.etsy.com & www.printyourowntee.etsy.com

Blog Name and URL (if you have one): NONE...I do have a facebook page though: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Sophia-Grace/120728747957102?ref=sgm

1. Tell us a little about yourself, the seller behind the store.

I am married to my hubby of 10 yrs, Jim, and have 2 daughters...Gracie (8), and Sophia (6). We live in Evans, GA. I have always loved crafting, sewing, designing, etc...AND saving money! :) I love teaching others "tricks of the trade" so to speak! Lots of boutique looks can be created in your home for a fraction of the cost AND are so easy to do. No sewing required! :)

2. What's your store about? What do you typically sell or sell the most?

I opened my first Etsy store over a year ago. It is called SophiaGrace Boutique (after my girls). I offer a tutorial called "How To Make Iron-on Fabric Appliques". These instructions walk you step by step in the applique making process. It also includes coupons for future use in my store. I also offer another tutorial in this store called "How To Make A TUTU". It includes 2 sets of instructions....a "no sew version" and a "minimal sewing" version. But, the main bulk of this store are my applique templates. These are patterns used to create your appliques. They are e-mailed over via .pdf format and printed out by the customer. I have TONS of designs...Christmas, Halloween, Birthday, Animals, Names, Initials, Numbers, Easter, etc, etc! With the exception of the letter/numbers, I hand draw all of my templates by hand. I also have recently added a few digitized templates...these were also hand drawn by me (just on the computer). I have made over 2400 sales to date with 100% feedback.

My newest store "Print Your Own Tee" just opened! The tutorial offered in this store is "How To Print Your Own Tee...and more!" This one teaches you how to take graphic designs/pictures and apply them to t-shirts, onesies, pillowcases, totes, etc. I also sell lots of graphic designs that I personalize to the customers liking. :) These designs are also e-mailed over and printed out by the customer.

**Everything purchased in either of my stores is e-mailed directly to the customer within 24-48 hours of receiving payment (usually much sooner).

3. Why did you decide to open a shop?
I totally LOVE etsy and love my businesses. I have SO many more ideas and wish I had more time to open more stores. :) Customer service is VERY important to me! I try to offer the best & fastest service that I can. I always try to accomidate any request made by any customer and I LOVE custom orders!!

**Fine print- I did not in any way receive money for this. All I got in return was a product to review. This is my very own personal opinion and no way was I forced to say what I did**
