I was completely thrilled when I received this fabric (Alphabet Soup Boy and Girl Collection by Zoe Pearn for Riley Blake) and I wanted to get creative ASAP, but of course work got in the way and I had to put my creative mind in the back seat for awhile.

I have a friend who is due any time now and I thought what better way to use this fabric than with a gift for her little one that she plans on naming: Natalie. Thus the gift set was born using the pink fabric with flowers. I made the whole set – two onesies, burp cloth, and two hairbows with only one fat quarter, and plus I had some left over!

This fabric is genuinely beautiful and I plan to purchase more in the future. Intrepid Thread was great in answering my questions and quick in shipping the products. No doubt they are the #1 fabric seller that I know on Etsy :]

Unsure of what this is above? These are my diaper cakes that I make and sell on Etsy. I made this one for my friend's baby shower. I can do them in any colors any style. This is an amazing bracelet to show how much of the Twilight Saga Series fan you are. This is also wonderful gift for Twi-Fan in your life.

Each bracelet is personally handcrafted by me, it measures 7 1/2" in length and is made with a .925 Sterling Silver Heart Chain with a secure lobster clasp. "Edward's" Heart is a 14mm Swarovski Clear Crystal Heart and "Jacob's" wolf is made of bass wood made here in the US. Every bracelet is individually handcrafted and can be made to any length.

I had this customly made. She has one already made on her sight for Edward. I immediatly had to order one for my Jacob. I mean to support Team Jacob : D I absolutely loved it. It came nicely wrapped and secure. I inspected the whole thing and couldn't find any flaws in it.

Amber is one of the nicest people I have met. When she says she is going to do something she follows through with it. She made sure that I liked the product before shipping it to me. 1. Tell us a little about yourself, the seller behind the store.

I start Custom Crochet By Amber back in 2004 after a car accident forced me out of work. I had been crocheting since I was about 9 years old. I figured why not use it to make some money. So, I did. I took everything from my savings account, cleaned out all my old "creations" from the closet and started my own website and started listing them on eBay. In early 2009, I had read the entire Twilight Saga Series in eight days. I started creating my own version of Twilight Inspired Jewelry in the vision I saw some if it in my head as I read the book. It just grew from that, from glass tile & scrabble tile jewelry to working with bottle caps. I love doing what I do and creating new things for people to enjoy.

2. What's your store about? What do you typically sell or sell the most?

I sell A LOT of Twilight themed Jewelry, regardless if it is a bookmark or a Scrabble Tile charm bracelet with the characters photos on them. But my more favorite thing to sell is when someone has given me a vague idea of what they are looking for and I create it from scratch. Or if someone gives me a family photo to surprise mom with on Mother's day.
3. Why did you decide to open a shop?

I was 23, still laid up after a car accident and bills needed to get paid. I ran out of options.
4. What does your shop mean to you?

My shop is everything to me. I'm constantly thinking of new ways to create and make each batch a little better than the last.

This is the item that I received. It is size 3-6 months. It is extremely soft and ADORABLE! When I saw this onesie I automatically thought of a baby at my church. We have VBS which stands for Vacation Bible School and this year's theme was High Seas. I think this onesie would've been cute on him with the little anchors. The tag is sewn it the back so that it will not irritate your little one's precious neck. It came to me wrapped in tulle with a ribbon along with the washing instructions.

Tell us a little about yourself, the seller behind the store./ Why did you decide to open a shop? What does your shop mean to you?

I’ve always had an idea of what type of clothing I was looking for, but couldn’t always find exactly what I had in my mind. That’s when I purchased a sewing machine and started making my own clothing. When my sister started having little girls, I started sewing for them. I had so much fun experimenting with fun, silly, loud fabrics…. Stuff I couldn’t get away with, but a three year old could! My sister along with my friends with children always told me that I should start selling my creations. It took me a while to work up the courage, but once I started my etsy shop I can’t stop thinking that I should have done this earlier!

I’ve been working since I was 12 years old. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. My first business attempt was selling rocks door to door in my neighborhood. I would put them on one of my mom’s cookie sheets and then canvas the neighborhood for customers! When that didn’t work out, I started a babysitting company. Eventually, I completed my studies in college and joined Corporate America.

My identity has always been strongly connected to my job title “I’m Kathleen, the babysitter”, ‘I’m Kathleen the Marketing Manager”. “I’m Kathleen the Regional Advertising Executive”. When the corporation that I was working for dissolved as a result of the economy, I was a lost…. Who is “Kathleen” now? “Kathleen the unemployed” simply would not do. I decided to just focus Kathleen the daughter, friend, sister and aunt… rolls that were sometimes left behind while I fought to get the next raise, promotion, award, etc. Now I get to spend a bunch of time with my darling nieces and nephews doing what I love the most, spoiling them rotten!

My etsy shop means the world to me! I’m thoroughly enjoying doing “my own thing”. I love being my own boss and using my creative side.

All of my designs are handmade with lots of love. It is important that all of my creations are machine washable and playground approved. I want to always make affordable clothing for kids to wear and not worry about getting it dirty. I make skirts, dresses and super fun separates. My Thoughts:

I thought this product was completely adorable. I was ecstatic when I saw it. The shoes are nice and soft and every baby would be lucky to be styling in them. I know I would if they were in my size.

The headband is made out of pantyhose so it is super comfy and doesnt leave those marks on your baby's head like most headbands.

The bow is cute and nicely put together. It is also interchangeable with any of her other bows.

The seller wwas willing to work with me and answer any questions that I had. She was nice and polite and didnt give me in trouble or attitude. Not to mention that the delivery was super fast, and it comes on a cute card with the seller's website for future reference.

All in all I give this seller an whopping 5 out of 5 for her AMAZING PRODUCTS and the SERVICE!

My store is about giving the customer boutique creations at an affordable price. I love beautiful children’s clothes and bows, but I am not able to shop at the expensive boutiques myself. I want to give my customer beautiful things for their children that are affordable.

I’ve sold more pillowcase dresses and bows than anything else. The best thing about pillowcase dresses is that you can dress them up or down, wear them with long sleeves or tights. Also, your little lovely can wear her dress as a top when it gets too short. And who doesn’t love bows!

3. Why did you decide to open a shop?

I decided to open my shop because I love to sew and create. I love to make my girls matching outfits and bows. My friend and family kept telling me I should sell my creations. When strangers started telling me the same thing, I decided maybe it was a good idea.

4. What does your shop mean to you?

I love having the chance to create beautiful things for people. I put 100% into each item I make. I love having my etsy shop, it’s just a lot of fun!
