REVIEW TIME #1

I recently received the most adorable thing ever.. Are you guys ready for this? Deep breaths. I received my own pair of moccasin's from Freshly Picked! Well, they aren't my size, they're for babies.. but that just makes them even more adorable!

Susan Petersen started making baby moccasins in 2009 after becoming frustrated by the lack of well-designed baby shoes. Using her second child, Gus, as a mocc-tester, and a bag of scrap leather she picked up at a yard sale, she began experimenting with designs. Working at her kitchen table, on a shoestring budget, Susan persisted through some disastrous attempts until she had created a pair of moccasins that not only looked adorable on Gus’ chubby little feet, but stayed on his feet as well.
Since then the moccasins have gone through about six design changes. Each change has perfected the look and the fit of the soft-soled shoe. The moccasins you purchase today are durable, well designed, and most importantly: stay on your child’s foot.
Money was tight at the time Susan started and in order to earn money to start her business she got resourceful. Her brother owns a window installation business and in the summer of 2009 she convinced him to let her keep the old windows that he was removing from the houses. She spent a whole summer banging the glass out of the windows because they were encased in aluminum frames. At the end of the summer she took the aluminum window frames to the scrap yard and recycled them to get money. She made $200 dollars and with that literal sweat equity, she started her business.

Each pair of moccasins, whether being shipped to the rich and famous (or at least their kids), or shipped across town, are made with care, perfection and a love for the little feet they are intended for. We sincerely hope you enjoy our product!
I honestly have no idea as where to start with this review. There is so much that I want to say, but yet so little time and space.  Besides these moccasins making your baby look fashion forward, they are also made with 100% genuine leather and love. These shoes easily slide on and off, but still manage to stay on the feet. It's magic! If you still aren't believing me about how amazing these are, here's a picture of the ones I received.

If you still aren't sold, then something must be wrong with you. (I'm kidding.) (Am I?) Anyways, these precious things got to my doorstep so fast that I was literally shocked! I opened them in a it of giggles and smiles. Oh how I wish they were my size! These moccasins have been featured in very popular magazines and shows such as Parenting Magazine, IN TOUCH, US weekly, People.com, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
Freshly Picked's cute moccasins range from colors and sizes! They price at $60.00 per pair, and you can't beat that! Just keep in mind that these are famous shoes, and they are 100% leather. Not to mention, their customer service is simply the best. They are so willing to help you in any way that they can. You can hardly find that today.
I am honestly in love with this company and everything about them. They have came such a long way and deserve millions of customers throughout the life span of this company. I plan to buy many pairs of these when I have my own kids. I honestly can't think of any reason why someone wouldn't want a pair!
All in all, these moccasins are fairly priced, made with love, easy to buy, and have made their way to the top. Now is your time to get a pair. I know you want to.

And here is your chance! Gnarly Marlee is having a giveaway! I'm super excited for all of you to have your own chance at getting a pair of these, for FREE! You will be able to pick the color and size that you want, and shipping is included! Due to the shipping, contestants have to live in the United States ONLY.

TOTALLY ROCKIN' TUESDAY #1

Today's TRT is inspired by this amazing article that I read about a week back! If you want to check out that article, just click here.

So, this article that I read is titled, "16 Things We'd Do If Locked in a Bookstore Overnight" and it is everything that an article should be. Easy to read, humorous, and centered around books.

I thought that I would do my own list, but shorten to my top 10.

I present to you:

Yes, I'll admit that it is HIGHLY unlikely for you to get locked in your favorite bookstore on "accident." And please, do not think that this is me encouraging you to try and spend the night in a local bookstore. I believe that somehow it is illegal, no matter how fun it may seem. But, if the chance does occur, take it! You may find yourself asking, where exactly would you start? Well, I'm here to help you with that!

1. Coffee. Every book reader knows that a hardy cup of Joe is needed if you want to make a dent in that beautiful new novel of yours. Find the coffee pot, whether it's a simple 12 cup pot or a fancy pants espresso maker!

2. Explore The Store. There are always certain parts to a store that customers are not allowed, and you always find yourself craving to go to those places. Well, here's your chance! Go in to that back room marked "Employees Only" and explore your little heart out! Who knows, maybe you'll find a stack of your favorite authors new book that you haven't read yet.

3. Make A Fool Of Yourself. Feel free to squeal with joy when you find that one book that you have been wanting to read for ages, but could never spare the cash to buy it. Sit in the middle of the aisle and cry as you hold that desired book and read, read, read.

4. Gather Your Army. Find every book that sparks your interest and grab it! You have a lot of reading time on your hands, here.

5. Make A Book Fort. I know you've seen the pictures on the internet of someone sitting and being completely surrounded by books, that feeling of envy heavy in your chest. Well, now is your chance! Make walls of books around you and take a deep breath. You smell that? It's the smell of happiness.

6. Coffee Break.  Untangle yourself from your book fort and refuel! You don't want to fall asleep in the middle of an author's work! Imagine how insulted they would be!

7. Pictures Galore. You're going to want to remember this for a while, so go ahead and start taking all sorts of picture. Pose with your favorite books. Snap a picture of your book fort or your refilled coffee cup.

8. Encore! Grab your favorite novel and head to the front of the store. Start reading it aloud as if in front of an audience. Act out your favorite scenes, be dramatic!

9. Prepare For Take-Off. Your time is almost up and the store's manager will be there soon to start opening the store. Get rid of all evidence that you were there.

10. Goodbye Kiss. Start saying goodbye to your favorite novels and place them back on the shelves. Maybe not in their rightful place, though. These books need to be seen! They need attention! Place them at the front of the store on the "Best Sellers" shelf. Then, take a step back and smile. You have made it through a night at the bookstore. Now it's time to split. Take the back door out and head home for some well deserved sleep.
