For starters, I really like the name and logo of this company. I guess it is simply unique and catches my eye.

Baby Babu has generously sent me the following diaper cover.

This yellow diaper cover has a smooth PUL waterproof cover, double gussets to prevent leakage, heavy-duty, ultra-smooth micro fiber insert. Each diaper cover is completely adjustable with our snap button system for babies from 8-35+ pounds.

Our cloth diaper covers come with one heavy-duty, ultra-smooth, microfiber  absorbable insert.  They can be used alone with the insert or used over a basic cloth diaper to prevent leakage.  Cloth diaper covers are not necessary if you are already using a pocket style diaper or all-in-one diaper.

All Baby Babu diaper covers come with our adjustable snap button system to fit babies from 8-35+ pounds.  Each diaper cover has a waterproof PUL cover and double gussets(see picture) to prevent leakage.  Leg elastics are super soft against your baby’s skin to help prevent rashes and irritation.

We recommend 6-8 diaper covers for a newborn, 4-6 for a older baby, and 2-3 for a toddler.

The cover came with a microfiber insert and a slip cover to slip over it, and then a snap to snap it in place. I really like the fact the insert had a slipcover and that it was not directly on baby’s bum.

The cover has 3 high rise settings and 8 waist size settings, the side snaps have a total of 4 snaps per each wing, this allows for a better fit around baby’s legs. I love that the insert snaps in the front of the diaper, so that if baby was to have a blow out then I wouldn’t have to worry about sticking my hand back there and trying to unsnap the insert. I love the soft material and the stretchiness to it!

I did have some trouble getting the cover on her. She is in that stage now where all she wants to do is sit and stand. No more lying down. Once I finally wiggled her into it. I could tell that she like the feel of it, and I liked the fact that it didn’t make her too bulky. I think it would have been a whole lot better if there had been two snaps at the front instead of one, so that it could be more stable.

I wasn’t really expecting the cover to be leak proof, especially with a heavy wetter, so I prepared for the worst. Two – Three hours later, I decided to change her, she didn’t feel wet, but when I took the cover off, the insert was soaking wet. I couldn’t believe that it held that much urine, and did not get on her clothes once! I was excited, and this cover has now became one of our favorites to use, during the day time, of course!
