I found this shop the other day when browsing around Etsy. They have the most adorable, affordable children items in the brightest of colors. Each item is handcrafted with the love of two sisters. You can tell that these two sisters enjoy doing what they do. This is the item that I received from PoppySnaps:

Sweet Treat Receiving Blanket

I really liked this product it is nice and soft. It is also very functional and bigger than the other blankets in stores. It can be used for swaddling, as a nursing blanket, or anything else you can think of. The seller was very kind and answered every question that I had. Not to mention that the delivery was super fast. It comes wrapped nicely in its little "candy" wrapper.

1. Tell us a little about yourself, the seller behind the store. PoppySnaps began as two sisters having a fun time creating different designs that inspired them. Shelby and Brittany both quit their outside jobs and wanted to have a hobby to share together. They began sewing as children, and have had tons of fun using their skills to come up with many new designs and creations. Brittany, a former office manager has a 2 year old boy and newborn girl, and Shelby, a Speech-language Pathologist, is a mom to a 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. We hope you enjoy our designs and let us know if you have any requests!

2. What's your store about? What do you typically sell or sell the most? PoppySnaps specializes in baby and kids products. As we both became moms, we decided that there were some things that you just couldn't find in conventional stores. The best way to remedy this was to make it ourselves. We couldn't stop the compliments from rolling in. Everyone loved our carseat canopies, bows, diaper and wipes cases, tutus and more. Our specialties include the carseat canopy and the extra large receiving blankets.

3. Why did you decide to open a shop? After leaving our professional careers to start families, we both felt the need to create, be productive, and start a new adventure. After a bunch of research, brainstorming, and (of course) shopping...we decided to open PoppySnaps.

4. What does your shop mean to you? PoppySnaps is an escape for us. An escape into a fun filled place where we can let our creative juices go wild. We love looking and picking out fabrics, experimenting with new designs, and stitching our way to the morning dawn! We love being able to help people find exactly what they want for them and their little ones. We love finding solutions to help new and experienced moms!

5. Random Questions, pick one or as many as you like and tell why.

Crayons or Color Pencils - sharper edges and straighter lines! We can be perfectionists.

Anchovies or Pepperoni - Olives please! Our father loves Anchovies on pizza...we have to leave the house when he orders it.

Pink or Blue - And all the other colors of the rainbow! We LOVE LOVE LOVE colors and shades. There are far too many good ones to choose from!

Cherries or Blueberries - Blueberries. Unless baked into a chocolate cherry pie.

Flip Flops or Sneakers - Flip flops...of course! We both spent a large chunk of our growing up years in Hawaii. There's nothing better than flip flops on a sunny day (or in some cases...even a snowy day)!
