Etsy Shop Review, Interview, & GIVEAWAY : Ladybug Bows

REVIEW

Ladybug Bows's Shop Announcement:
"Thanks for visitng my site! I am a stay at home mom to my beautiful baby girl. I love making her girly stuff and thought I would share that!
Every bow I make is the same thing I make for my daughter. So even though my prices are cheap, the quality is not! =) Every bow is glued to an aligator clip with a small piece of foam to keep it from slipping in hair. Headbands are not included in the sale, but can be bought for $2.00 a piece. Email me if you are interested and for color choices.
I've recently added baby legs to my shop! My little one has started crawling and I wanted something to protect her little knees. Solution?!?! Baby legs! They keep those precious legs covered and protected! I'm hoping to have more up soon, and also more choices for boys as well. =)

I know shipping seems a little pricey.... it's $4.95 for a small flat rate box. I find that's the easiest way to ship and keep everything from getting squished. I'm willing to make a deal though! Spend $25 and get free shipping! =)

Everything comes from a smoke free home.

Thanks for your business and have a great day!"
I found this cute shop the other day when browsing around Etsy. I really like the seller behind the store she is very nice and always willing to answer my never ending questions. She also sent me instructions on how to use this product below:
Sorry that pictures are not good quality. I have to use my cell phone due to the lack of a camera. Any who this product can be used more than one way, it can be used to cover your little one's legs or used to cover your lower arms. Just about anything creative you can think of. The fabric is very soft and sewed with good quality. She also has many different colored baby legs, bows, and other useful objects.
I thought this product was extremely soft and handy. The seller really works with you and answers your questions. Not to mention that the delivery was super fast. It came wrapped in a little plastic bag with her business card taped to the top in case you have any questions.

Here is what she saud on the instructions that I think will give you all more insight on the product:
"Ok, so I love all the cute little girly outfits out there. The skirts, the little frilly bums, and the dresses. One problem, it leaves their knees exposed! My thirteen month old had red, raw knees from her crawling expeditions and I wanted a quick fix. So I just took some cute knee socks, cut them, made cuffs for them and wala...baby legs =) They cover those precious knees and an added benefit is that it keeps her legs warm while she is inside with the AC blasting away. I'm thinking that in the winter they could be worn as well as though for some added warmth when she is outside with me running errands. leg warmers are making a come back baby style!"

1. Tell us a little about yourself, the seller behind the store.
I'm a stay at home mom to my amazing 14 month old daughter. I've been married to my husband for four years...but we met back in high school over 12 years ago. We dated for awhile, but it wasn't until 6 years ago that we got back together and made it work. I love to travel and have been to some pretty cool places. I really love my life and consider myself to be very fortunate! My guilty pleasures include: The Twilight series, Reality TV, Pringles, and Dr. Pepper.

2. What's your store about? What do you typically sell or sell the most?
Well, I love anything girly on babies...the girlier the better. So when I found out that I was having a girl, I was excited! Then, I realized how expensive it could get. So I decided to try and make stuff myself. Once I realized how many bows I could get out of a couple spools of ribbon I decided to try and sell the extras. Then she started crawling and I made her the baby legs. Got some good deals on socks so I sold the extras...the bows sold better because that was all I had at first, but the baby legs are becoming poplular. I hope to make more fun stuff here in the future, and more boyish baby legs too!

3. Why did you decide to open a shop?
Ooops, kinda answered that one in number two! =) It started out as just bows, but I would really like to expand my shop and make more things. My latest attempt has been bloomers with ruffle butts. Watch for those to hopefully come soon!

4. What does your shop mean to you?
My shop means I get to share what I can make with others. And, maybe make a few extra dollars to put towards making more fun stuff. Someday I would love for it to be more lucrative and be like a part time job so that I can continue to stay home with kids.

5. Random Questions, pick one or as many as you like and tell why.

Crayons or Color Pencils - crayons, loved having the BIG box of crayons when I was little, thought it was the coolest thing

Anchovies or Pepperoni - pepperoni, anchovies gross me out

Pink or Blue - Pink and Blue... need both to make purple which is my favorite color!
Cherries or Blueberries - neither ick gross! ;)

Flip Flops or Sneakers - flip flops, my toes need freedom
