A secret government agency has developed a drug called Revive that can bring people back from the dead, and Daisy Appleby, a test subject, has been Revived five times in fifteen years. Daisy takes extraordinary risks, knowing that she can beat death, but each new death also means a new name, a new city, and a new life. When she meets Matt McKean, Daisy begins to question the moral implications of Revive, and as she discovers the agency’s true goals, she realizes she’s at the center of something much larger — and more sinister — than she ever imagined.

What I Am Crazy Bout…

I love the simplicity of it. Nothing too bright is going on with the cover and colors. I also love the lay back feel of it. The girl with her gorgeous blue eyes peeking through the ripped fabric gives the cover such mysteriousness that it makes you want to read the synopsis that much more. I also love the big font and the white against the background. This is definitely one beauty that I want sitting on my bookshelf :]

Publisher: HarperCollins Children’s Books
Age Group: Young Adult
Pages: 384
Format: Hardback

Incarnate

NEWSOUL
Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

NOSOUL
Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are suspicious and afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

HEART
Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Jodi Meadows expertly weaves soul-deep romance, fantasy, and danger into an extraordinary tale of new life.

Cover Crazy: Still Waters

Cover Crazy is hosted by The Book Worms.

What I am crazy about:

I love the colors of this cover and then stillness of the girl. She looks peaceful and serene. I also love how the text has a shadow under it.

This book sounded interesting and I quickly added it to my to-be-read list. I noticed that it only had a 3.75 rating and I cannot help, but wonder why. What do you think of this cover?

Hannah can't wait to sneak off for a romantic weekend with her boyfriend, Colin. He’s leaving for college soon, and Hannah wants their trip to the lake house to be one they’ll never forget.
But once Hannah and Colin get there, things start to seem a bit...off. They can't find the town on any map. The house they are staying in looks as if someone's been living there, even though it's been deserted for years. And Colin doesn’t seem quite himself. As he grows more unstable, Hannah worries about Colin’s dark side, and her own safety.
Nothing is as perfect as it seems, and what lies beneath may haunt her forever.

Cover Crazy: Half-Blood

Half-Blood (Covenant, #1)

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi-pure-bloods-have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals-well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.
I love the colors of this book and the pretty flower. I received this book in the mail today and I cannot wait to dig in :]

Cover Crazy: The Demon Lover

Cover Crazy is hosted by the wonderful Tawny @ The Book Worms

I gasped . . . or tried to. My mouth opened, but I couldn’t draw breath. . . . His lips, pearly wet, parted and he blew into my mouth. My lungs expanded beneath his weight. When I exhaled he sucked in my breath and his weight turned from cold marble into warm living flesh.
Since accepting a teaching position at remote Fairwick College in upstate New York, Callie McFay has experienced the same disturbingly erotic dream every night: A mist enters her bedroom, then takes the shape of a virile, seductive stranger who proceeds to ravish her in the most toe-curling, wholly satisfying ways possible. Perhaps these dreams are the result of writing her bestselling book, The Sex Lives of Demon Lovers. After all, Callie’s lifelong passion is the intersection of lurid fairy tales and Gothic literature—which is why she finds herself at Fairwick’s renowned folklore department, living in a once-stately Victorian house that, at first sight, seemed to call her name.
But Callie soon realizes that her dreams are alarmingly real. She has a demon lover—an incubus—and he will seduce her, pleasure her, and eventually suck the very life from her. Then Callie makes another startling discovery: He’s not the only mythical creature in Fairwick. As the tenured witches of the college and the resident fairies in the surrounding woods prepare to cast out the incubus, Callie must accomplish something infinitely more difficult—banishing this demon lover from her heart.

What I love about this cover?

First of all the dress is beautiful and the sky and trees. Next would have to be the title. I love the simple yet elegant feel of this cover and after reading the description I could feel my heart rate speed up just a little. I HAVE TO HAVE THIS BOOK! Good thing is, it comes out this fall!

Cover Crazy (1): Entwined

This is a new meme brought to you by Tawni @ The Book Worms so feel free to stop by and enter your post. I can't wait to see what you all pick out!

I LOVE everything about this cover from the background to the text. I really like the Cinderella theme of it. The colors are amazing and I like the castle.

I believe that this cover really relates well to the synopsis. I can't wait to dig into this story and to think that it is waiting patiently on my bookshelf.

Happy Holidays,
