Be sure to hop around to all of the participating blogs before 11:59 pm on November 14th to see the awesome prizes they have to offer.
The second giveaway is one of my personal favorites :] You will have the chance to personalize your own Ultimate Superhero Set from The Lazy Owl. She is a very talented lady. Here is what she has to say about The Lazy Owl.
The Lazy Owl…
The Lazy Owl is a great place to find the perfect dress up items for those special children in your life. My products allow kids to totally let free and let their imaginations run wild. I have a great selection of super hero cape designs with capes, masks and matching cuff sets. I also have a line of nature capes and crowns as well. I love to bring the elements of nature into my designs. I also have a great selection of felt crowns. Perfect for that birthday or princess. I like to think of my store as whimsical, earth friendly and child and parent friendly. I love to create custom designs for people.....so I am always open for others ideas. The Lazy Owl is a great place to come...sit back and enjoy life just a little bit more.
Well I have lots of favorites of the items I create. I don't know if I could pick just 1 or two but here it goes. I love the nature cape and crowns....they are true to my love for trees, flowers and birds. I also love creating the super hero cape sets. There is something great about seeing a little kid running around in a cape and mask. I remember as a child my cape was made from a pillowcase and tied in a knot around my neck. My mask was a winter tostle cap that had eyes and mouth openings. Great vintage imagination. Well maybe more budget friendly for our family. I love the options of satin and cotton capes I have available. And personalization is great to have for any kid.
I was always creating in my younger years. I remember going to a craft class on monday nights after school with my best friend Jessica. We created all sorts of things from wreaths, things with silk flowers and lots of glue!! I took home economics in junior high where I actually had to learn to sew. I loved fabric. And any type. I was not the best on listening as a young girl and almost got kicked out of sewing class as I didn't take it "serious" enough. Seeing as my skirt turned out 3 sizes to small for me. I gave it to my friend Jenny who was like a size "0". But fabric was my favorite.
I am so looking forward to creating some eco friendly Christmas decor out of felt. I use a lot of felt in my products and it is made from completely recycled materials and lots of cool colors. So I want to offer a few items in my store like felt christmas trees and felt christmas lights. Maybe a santa super hero set...we shall see.
I am always working on new things for my store. I have a list on my large chalkboard of my ideas. And I work on them when I have a little time to spare. Which is not much these days....busy filling orders! But here are two little tidbits of creative ideas coming soon from The Lazy Owl. Vintage Robin Costume. You know the old Batman and Robin that used to be on TV?? I did a custom design for someone on etsy and it turned out so well I am going to start offering it in my shop. I just need to create a larger size so I can have my girls model one for pictures. I also am in the process of designing a childs nurse costume. Complete with a white apron, felt nurses hat, red cape and felt nurses bag. I think this one will be really cute.
So that is what is going on at The Lazy Owl. Thank you for checking out my shop and have a wonderful holiday season.
Now here is an example of what you can win…
