Banned Books Giveaway Hop!



Hosted by I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and I read Banned Books.

Before I actually posted this giveaway. I actually had to go and see which books were considered “banned” so that I knew which to giveaway. If you are like me and are unsure then you can see a list here.

So for my giveaway I have decided to giveaway the Hunger Games Trilogy!

    i think you should change the background. not the purple boxes but the grayish background, make it colorful and pretty :)

    Great giveaway. One thing to change about your blog.... I like the purple (fav color) the site is clean and easy to navigate. I wouldn't change anything to your blog- looks good.

    I don't know that I would change anything about your blog. It has a very crisp and clean look. I especially love your favorite series widget and may even implement that on my own blog. It is not overcrowded or too busy which is a problem with many blogs (including my own!)

    Thanks for the great giveaway trilogy.

    I think your blog is very unique.I would probably make it a darker purple since the white and purple together make it a bright and hard on the eyes. I'm partial to purple though, since my blog is purple too. :-)

    I know that I can make the print bigger on my end - but it is a little small for my eyes. . .

    I'd change the type face, at times it's hard to read extended amounts of text, a clean sans serif style would be easier. And change background graphic for interest.

    In my opinion, you should change the colors (purple and white) into darker colors. Maybe a darker purple? That way, it is easier to read the screen because it kind of hurts my eyes looking at it for a while.

    I don't know that I would change anything about your blog. If I had to choose maybe I would clean up the "recent posts" thing. It's probably the messiest thing here. But really the blog is incredibly well organized and totally cute.

    If there is one thing I would change it is that the text is slanted. I know it is supposed to be fun, but for some people it can be really hard to read

    I would use a more colorful background. Maybe instead of all grey stripes, keep the darker grey and change the other to a lavender or lilac or other light purple.

    I think the only thing I'd change is under the giveaway buttons on the side, I'd put when each contest ends. :) Otherwise, it is fantastic! I love how everything is so clean and concise.

    Hmmm...a very difficult question indeed. I use the same font you do on my blog so I can't complain about that and my favorite color is purple (although a bit darker than what you use) so I can't complain about that either.

    Sorry but I like your blog just the way it is. Don't change a thing.

    I like the colors of your blog. My fav. color is purple. The font is cool too. Your blog is also easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. I would keep it as is unless you really want to give it a new look.

    It's hard to find something to change about your blog. The layout is attractive and simple. Everything is clear, and well organized (my biggest pet peeve with blogs is when they're messy and cluttered lol). And I easily found your contact and social networking info all in one place. Ummm...there are a couple of missing images in your sidebar? That might be the only thing I'd fix. lol Seriously, I don't see anything else that I would change. You've done an awesome job on your blog.

    I'm new to your blog but the only thing I would suggest is having the GFC follow widget/box permanently on the sidebar. I had a hard time finding it until I clicked the "home" tab.

    I would ask what your main pic at the top is supposed to stand for? Because from your name and the pic I can't tell what this page is dedicated for. You should make it more clear from the beginning what your blog is here for so that people who come across it know that.

    It would be best if you deleted most of the buttons on the right side of the page, so your blog can load faster on the web browsers.

    Add another small column on the right or left so there can be more stuff like blog badges. Or add something in terms of an image that signifies books.

    More review of classic books also gift card giveaways. In terms of blog layout, maybe make the buttons on the side lesser? Although it looks clean, it is just hard to scroll all the way done. Thanks!
