Tova Gallagher isn't just your average tough as nails, intelligent Bostonian. She also just so happens to be half-demon, and halvesies have an important role to play in the supe world. Whether they choose to go with the instincts of their demon or human half is supposed to predict the outcome of the endtimes, and now Tova has a deadline to choose sides. But all of that is hard to care about when she's just met a sexy stranger on the edge of the Charles River.
The other day I received an email from Amanda offering a chance for me to read and review her newest e-book: Ecstatic Evil. I had to end up denying the request due to the fact that I do not own an E-Reader. I told Amanda that I would be honored to feature her on Ashley Suzanne with a guest post and a giveaway! And you know what she agreed!!! So I present you with her character Tova's guest post (giveaway will follow).
"My name is Tova Gallagher, and I’m a halvesie living in Boston. Oh, you don’t know what a halvesie is? A halvesie is a half-demon, half-human that the supe world uses to attempt to predict whether evil or good will win in the endtimes. Fun for me, huh? It’s worse than just being at war with myself inside. I also have to deal with my demon cousin Bartleby constantly dropping in and whipping up lattes for himself out of thin air. Not to mention walking through walls and being just generally fabulous. Plus, the fairies rather constantly send the seriously way too happy Fae to check in on me and encourage me to be good. (She has the best set of red curls ever. I wish my boring, straight, black hair would even come close to being that pretty).Amanda was also kind enough to send me some links to the Kindle that she bought and the goodies that she got to go with it. I thought I would share these for you and help shed some light.
When I’m not dealing with the supe world, I’m running my independent bookstore, Legion Books, that I co-own with my best friend, Kay, who is completely oblivious to the fact that I’m a supe. Since I’m a typical car-less Bostonian, I take public transit to the bookstore most days of the week. If you think demons are bad, you should try dealing with a bunch of frustrated Bostonians and our badly maintained transit system every day. It’s a really good thing bourbon exists, or I don’t know how I’d make it through my days, because on top of everything, I don’t have a boyfriend, which really cuts down on the stress release if you know what I mean. It’s not exactly easy to hang on to a boyfriend when you have a tendency to accidentally use demonic magic when you get aroused. I’m just saying. I just have to hold out hope that someday I’ll meet a man who is a match for me. Also that I can finally figure out whether to be good or evil. That’s kind of important too."
