I am currently reading Halo by Alexander Adornetto and I am on Chapter 8.
This represents Bethany as she suffers from a unknown hangover. Bethany went to an unexpected party and drank a liquid that was unknown. She later learns that it was a hangover. This is the opening scene in this chapter.
This represents the darkness covering up the light. I chose a eclipse as a metaphor of the dark/bad trying to cover and hide the light/good. Gabriel talks about how they are the good that are trying to defeat the bad.
This dog represents Phantom, the dog that Bethany and her siblings add to their family.
